Orlando Sanford Announces Non-stop Service from Amsterdam

Airport’s First Non-stop Scheduled Service from The Netherlands

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Dutch airline, ArkeFly announced today, low-fare scheduled service beginning June 24th, 2011 from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) in The Netherlands.  This marks the first ever non-stop scheduled service between Amsterdam and Orlando Sanford.  ArkeFly is part of the World of TUI whose brand Thomson Airways currently operates year-round between various points in the United Kingdom and Orlando Sanford.

This new year-round service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays using a 3-Class, 283-seat Boeing 767-300ER aircraft configured with 31 Premium Comfort seats, 154 Comfort Class seats and 98 Economy Class seats.  Reservations can be made online at www.ArkeFly.nl or through a local travel professional.

Non-stop service on Mondays is scheduled to leave Amsterdam at 8:30 AM and arrive at Orlando Sanford at 12:45 PM; flights will depart Orlando Sanford at 2:30 PM and arrive in Amsterdam at 7:15 AM (on Tuesdays) via one-stop in Miami. On Fridays the non-stop service is scheduled to leave Amsterdam at 2:30 PM and arrive at Orlando Sanford at 7:45 PM; flights will depart Orlando Sanford at 9:30 PM and arrive in Amsterdam at 1:15 PM (on Saturdays) via one-stop in Miami. All flight times are local.
