
In Mexico, DCA is one of the three shareholders – holding 33.33% of the capital – of Aeropuertos Mexicanos del Pacífico (AMP), together with Aena Internacional – partner of abertis in TBI - and the Mexican company CMA. AMP in turn is the majority shareholder and strategic partner of Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), with a stake of 17% (the remaining 83% is listed on the Mexico and New York stock markets), and holds a management contract with GAP that gives it special rights, such as the appointment of certain members of the management team – among them the Managing Director – and representation of 4 members on the Board of Directors (out of a total of 11).
GAP operates the concessions at 12 airports in Pacific and central Mexico regions, including six of the ten largest airports in the country. Specifically, GAP manages the airports of Guadalajara (7.3 million passengers annually), Tijuana (4.7 million), Puerto Vallarta (3.1 million), Los Cabos (2.9 million), Hermosillo (1.3 million), Bajio (1.3 million), and six other airports (Mexicali, Los Mochis, La Paz, Manzanillo, Aguascalientes and Morelia) that in total represent almost 3 million additional passengers annually.
