Montego Bay

Sangster International is Jamaica’s leading tourist airport, receiving more than 80% of the tourists who visit the island. Passenger volume at Sangster International, which in 2007 exceeded 3,464,000, has been growing steadily in recent years. Among other factors, it is favoured by its location on the corridor from Negril to Ocho Rios, which has the highest number of tourist rooms on the island. Montego Bay and its surrounds is the area with the highest number of hotel projects in Jamaica.

43 airlines, among them Air Canada, Continente, Delta, First Choice, TUI, Monarch, Thomson Fly and Virgin Atlantic, use this airport. Most of its international destinations are in North America (USA and Canada), though it also has routes to Europe, Mexico, Colombia and other Caribbean countries.
